Somatic yoga is a gentle therapeutic approach to improve health, well-being, quality of life, and personal performance. In somatic yoga we are using specifically chosen yoga poses in connection with the breath, in a gentle and fluid way of motion. These movements help us to be aware of our body and the way it responds to particular postures. This is a learning process for all of us, to pay attention at the signs emerging from our deeper layer. Incorporating slow, mindful movement along with synergizing kinesiology and yoga to re-pattern the body and mind.

Kinesiology works with the mind, emotions and spirit to restore the natural balanced state, which was compromised by any kind of stress or other difficulties. Looking beyond the symptoms of our physical injury or emotional pain, diving deeper along the guidelines of our bodily movements. The holistic approach leads us forward to establish our priority healing needs to enhance our vitality and improve health and well-being.
Meditation
Meditation is an undividable part of yoga. But in our western culture it became as an additional option. There are plenty of studies worldwide showing the results how beneficial is the meditation. Even if you could take only 10 minutes each morning to prepare yourself for the day, you would be able to enjoy the benefit of it in a short term. Meditation is really not about having profound mystical experiences, but it is for the purpose of achieving a sense of calm and peacefulness in your daily life. Meditation is a state of higher awareness.

Yoga Therapy session is a one on one, client -centered session that combines meditation, breath work, assisted and supported yoga postures and compassionate dialogue. This non-prescriptive approach allows clients to explore sensations and emotions through their bodies in a non-judgmental setting. Clients often gain greater mental and emotional clarity around significant life issues, release tension in their bodies and gain a sense of physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. No prior yoga experience is necessary. The most profound changes happen from the inside out. On the session one can learn how to be aware of the physical and emotional senses. It is an experiential and introspective process that allows clients to explore the connection between what’s happening in their bodies and what’s happening in their life. With practice we realize that mindfulness can break the cycle of fear and anger. I encourage you to discover your inner-power and cultivate peace and happiness.
